Growing up in Napanee, Ontario, Arrin’s love for animals began at a very young age. That early connection with animals eventually grew into a lifelong passion and a career dedicated to their health, comfort, and well-being.

Arrin graduated from St. Lawrence College’s Veterinary Technology program in 1998 and has spent more than 28 years working in veterinary medicine. Throughout her career, she has gained extensive experience in general practice, emergency and critical care, surgery and anesthesia, dentistry, diagnostics, mobile veterinary services, and practice management.

As a Registered Veterinary Technician, Arrin especially enjoys the hands-on aspects of patient care—from supporting surgical and dental procedures to caring for hospitalized patients and helping animals feel safe and comfortable during their visits. Just as important to her is building relationships with pet owners, helping them understand their pet’s health, and providing the knowledge and support they need to make informed decisions about their care.

Over the years, Arrin has worked in a variety of veterinary settings, from busy multi-doctor hospitals and emergency clinics to house-call veterinary services. Her broad experience has given her a well-rounded perspective on veterinary medicine and a deep appreciation for the teamwork that goes into providing exceptional patient care.

After nearly three decades in the profession, Arrin’s favourite part of veterinary medicine remains the same as when she first started: making a difference in the lives of animals and the people who love them.
